Why this works

A standard desk setup has a mouse pad occupying roughly 700cm² and a separate charging pad occupying another 150cm² — 850cm² total for two single-purpose objects. The Grid delivers both functions in a single 300mm × 210mm surface, returning real desk space while removing one entire cable run from your setup.
